International students residing in Japan under the “Student” status of residence may engage in part-time work under certain conditions by obtaining “Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted by the Status of Residence Previously Granted” from the Immigration Services Agency.
Without this permission, you cannot work part-time. Please also note that students who have withdrawn or graduated (completed their studies) from this school are not permitted to engage in activities outside the scope of their visa status.
