【updated】 Notice of changing business hours due to declaration of a state of emergency / Measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

This is updated information since the contents of the April 17th notice has been changed.
Emergency declaration by the Japanese government is now to be extended until May 31st, 2020 due to spread of the coronavirus, .
ISI Japanese Language School will continue the online lesson at all campuses during the emergency declaration period.
The business hours and infection control measures at each school are as follows.

【TOKYO – Takadanobaba Campus (ISI Language School) / Tokyo – Ikebukuro Campus (ISI Language College) / Kyoto Campus (ISI Language School, Kyoto)】

May 7 (Thursday) – For the time being
Business hours: Monday to Friday 11:00 to 15:00
※ We will continue the online lesson in the emergency declaration period.

【Nagano Campus(Nagano Business and Language College)】

Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:30
※We will continue the online lesson.
※ Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
※Please understand that time change period and time change details are subject to change without notice.

Please confirm with each school in advance by telephone before visiting the school.

We would like ask all customers to wear masks when they visit school in order to prevent the spread of the infection for everyone’s (customers, students and staffs) health and safety.
The following measures will be taken during business hours

  • Staff are wearing masks
  • Staff performs frequent hand washing, gargling, and hand disinfection.
  • School cleaning using a disinfectant
  • Thermometry test of the faculty, checking physical condition before working.
  • Securing a certain distance with customers (social distancing)

The health and safety of our customers, students and staff is a top priority for us. In order for its students to be able to study in a safe environment, ISI Japanese Language School will take all the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the infection.
