In addition to fellow program participants, international students from ISI Osaka will also join. This is a great opportunity to not only learn about studying Japanese but also gain insights into life in Japan and must-visit spots.
It is an essential spot for sightseeing in Osaka. Shinsaibashi has an arcade street of about 600 meters long, lined with a variety of stores. Dotonbori is a bustling area filled with unique signs.
The castle was built by Mr.Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1583 and the interior is open to the public as a history museum. On a clear day, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains in the distance.
This tour will take you to the recommended sightseeing spots in Kyoto, the city with the most colorful Japanese traditions and culture. If you are lucky, you'll also get a chance to meet a real maiko.
We will visit Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street, the longest shopping street in Japan, as well as Osaka Temmangu Shrine, which is dedicated to the god of learning. Since the Tenjin Festival is held from late June to July 25th, we will also learn about this festival in class.
Samurai were real warriors who lived over 100 years ago, skilled in martial arts, devoted to their lords with a philosophy of loyalty, even at the cost of their own lives! Let’s step into their world, experience what it's like to be a Samurai, and learn the “kata” of Samurai combat!
Nara is home to numerous temples and shrines that have been registered as World Cultural Heritage sites. In addition, Nara Park is home to many deer, and feeding them is a popular activity.
Japanese manga is loved worldwide. In this short, one-hour beginner-friendly class, you'll learn techniques directly from professional artists and create a one-of-a-kind illustration for you to take home as a souvenir.
Visit one of the world's largest aquariums, home to the whale shark, the largest fish on the planet! The hands-on exhibits, where visitors can interact with the creatures, are also a popular attraction
Take a trip to an exciting theme park in Osaka, where you can immerse yourself in the world of movies and anime. Capture photos with popular characters and enjoy thrilling attractions for an unforgettable experience.
Did you know that instant ramen was invented in Japan? It was invented by Momofuku Ando in his home in Ikeda, Osaka Prefecture. This museum in Ikeda City is a fun place to learn about the history of Cup Noodles.
Enjoy your final moments with the teachers and friends you've shared this journey with. Participate in games, work together as a team to compete for high scores, and receive original ISI goods.
