ISI Language College (Ikebukuro Campus) has been certified as an “Accredited Japanese Language Education Institution”
ISI Language College (Ikebukuro Campus) has been formally recognized as an accredited institution in the first round of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s “Accredited Japanese Language Education Institution” review for the 2025 academic year.
This system certifies Japanese language education institutions that meet certain standards in areas such as educational content, faculty and staff structure, and school management. ISI Japanese Language School Group is proud to announce that this is its first certified school.
Moving forward, the Ikebukuro Campus will strive to create an educational environment where each student can learn and grow with peace of mind, mindful of our responsibility as a certified institution.
Furthermore, we will continue working to enhance educational quality and improve our systems, aiming for other ISI Japanese Language Schools to obtain certification sequentially.

What is a Certified Japanese Language Education Institution?
This new system, established in 2023, replaces the previous “Ministry of Justice Notified Schools.” It is a mechanism where the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) reviews and certifies the quality of education and operational systems.
Receiving this certification requires institutions to provide more reliable Japanese language education through quality assurance and improvements to the learning environment.
