※ISI Group – Companies with Offers for FY2022 Breakdown of Industries (as of January 16, 2023)
I studied at Takadanobaba School for two years. The teachers were very patient with me in class. The facilities are spacious and well-equipped, so I was able to use many on-campus facilities for self-study and study very efficiently. I am currently enrolled in the General Studies Department at the University of Tokyo, but in my junior year I will be assigned to the Engineering Department to study specialized knowledge. I am interested in environmental issues, so in the future I would like to research plastics that have the least environmental impact.
When I first enrolled in the program, I was not very confident that I would be able to enter the graduate school of my choice considering my home university, my age, and my Japanese grades. Thanks to the kind counsel of my homeroom teacher and classmates, I think I was able to overcome the most difficult period of my life.
If you want to go on to higher education in Japan, the learning environment and atmosphere are important. At Takadanobaba School, I made friends with classmates who had the same goal of going on to higher education, and we were able to study while engaging in friendly competition. I feel that the environment has an influence on people. I believe that a good environment will lead to good results.
It was my dream to work in Japan, and I decided to enroll in this school because it offered support for finding a job and a good study of business Japanese and keigo (honorific language). So glad I learned as much as I hoped I would!
At the school, I had many interview practices in Japanese with the teachers, and there was excellent support for my resume. In class, we had to give presentations in front of our classmates, and I think that each time I gave a presentation, I gained more confidence, which was a plus for my job hunting activities. In the future, I would like to do business analysis consulting for Japanese and U.S. companies.
If you want a high level of Japanese language education and have a goal of finding a job in Japan, ISI’s Harajuku Campus is the right place for you. It is a really good environment to steadily improve your Japanese level step by step. My homeroom teacher was very supportive in helping me prepare my resume and other necessary documents, and there was a specialist teacher at the career center for job interviews, which was very reassuring.
If you are willing and able to put in the proper amount of study time, this school is a top-notch place to study.
ISI’s knowledgeable counselors are assigned to each country, area, and language.
