Starting at a minimum of 2 weeks, this is a study abroad program aimed at those who want to study the Japanese language with a visa status other than “Student”. ISI Japanese Language School offers various short-term study abroad programs, all to meet your needs. Even if you plan on staying in Japan for more than one year on a “Working Holiday Visa” or on a “Spouse Visa”, you can still take the short-term course!
“I want to concentrate on improving my Japanese conversational skills.” “I want to try authentic Japanese food!” “I want to visit places I’ve seen in anime!” Signing up for the short term course is the perfect first step towards fulfilling these dreams.
ISI Japanese Language School’s short-term course is especially suitable for those who want to study abroad in an international environment in Japan! ISI’s unique teaching materials and curriculum, as well as our diverse international environment, allow students to quickly refine their conversational skills, enabling them to dramatically improve their Japanese language ability, even in a short period of time.
Because the classes are multinational, students have opportunities to talk with students from all over the world outside of class, giving them a chance not only to learn Japanese, but also to experience a variety of cultures and values.
ISI offers a detailed curriculum tailored to your objectives and level. Classes are taught by experienced and qualified Japanese language instructors who provide high-quality education. Students can also aim for high scores on various Japanese language examinations.
Extracurricular activities for cultural exchange and experience are held regularly at each school, allowing students to actively learn Japanese outside of class hours through interaction with students from other ISI Group schools and Japanese high school students.
The school has a reliable support system from enrollment to completion, including follow-up on enrollment procedures and support for higher education and employment by career advisors and homeroom teachers while students are enrolled in the school.
ISI students come from a wide variety of countries. In addition to learning Japanese, students will have the opportunity to experience multinational cultures and values that are different from those of their home countries and Japan.
Our schools are equipped with a study room, library, student lounge, café, Japanese-style room, prayer room, and free Wi-Fi. ISI also provides accommodation for students to enjoy a fulfilling school life outside of class hours.
In addition to the high level of student satisfaction after enrollment, the school has an excellent reputation for its "ISO 29991:2014" certification and awards received from international organizations.
