Our unique program, which focuses on employment, aims to help students acquire practical Japanese language skills for use in business.
The first program dedicated to career support.
For non-Japanese who wish to find a job or start a business in Japan, this program teaches ” Business Level Japanese” from the beginner level to each stage of study, and helps students acquire business communication skills through ISI’s unique learning method, which is not limited by grammar.
From the time of enrollment, we will provide tailor-made career support “exclusively for you” to help you develop a career that matches your individual desires, aptitudes, and abilities.
With the declining birthrate, aging population, and decrease in the working population, as well as globalization, the number of companies actively hiring foreigners is increasing year by year in Japan. Would you like to find a job, start a business, or further develop your career in Japan?
The “Career Japanese” program (ISI’s original program), which is a specialized career support program for job-seekers, incorporates the ISI Group’s know-how on Japanese language education and job placement support accumulated over many years.
One of the most important qualities that Japanese companies look for in their non-Japanese employees is the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately in Japanese.
This program is designed for individuals who wish to improve their professional Japanese language skills with the goal of contributing to organizations and society in Japan.
Using ISI’s original method, students will learn Kanji, grammar, reading comprehension, etc. with a focus on conversation from the beginner level in a well-balanced manner. Students will improve their overall Japanese language skills and acquire the ability to communicate and express themselves in Japanese.
Learn the skills needed in various business situations such as answering phone calls, writing emails, meetings, business negotiations, presentations, and so on. We will provide thorough guidance to help you obtain a job offer.
By forming groups with different levels of Japanese and working together to accomplish tasks (collaborative learning), students will gain an understanding of different cultures and multiculturalism, along with social skills and decision-making abilities.
All students are assigned a dedicated Career Advisor who will accompany them on their path to employment. The “peace of mind” that comes from knowing that you can consult with us anytime you need help will lead to better results.
The most familiar class teachers and the Career Center at ISI Headquarters will support students in their job hunting activities. ISI’s strength is its one-stop job placement support without relying on outside vendors.
As soon as you enter the school, we will make an employment plan for you based on the Japanese language skills required for the job you want. We will then work backwards from your graduation schedule, a support plan “only for you”.
・Confirmation of target job (sector, job type)
・Confirmation of required Japanese language skills
・Confirmation of graduation (employment) date
・Identify the items (actions) required to achieve this goal.
・Create a timetable working backwards from your graduation date
・Provide career guidance tailored to your individual needs
・Track your progress with a Career Advisor
・Foster goal management skills while learning

It was my dream to work in Japan, and I decided to enroll in this school because it offered support for finding a job and a good study of business Japanese and keigo (honorific language). I’m so glad I learned as much as I hoped!
At the school, I was able to have practice interviews in Japanese with my teachers, and they helped me my resume. In class, we had to give presentations in front of our classmates, and I think that each time I gave a presentation, I gained more confidence, which was a plus for my job hunting activities. In the future, I would like to do Business Analysis Consulting for Japanese and U.S. companies.
Takadanobaba Campus or Shibuya Campus is the school where you can realize your dream of “working in Japan”.
The most affordable type of stay. A Property Manager is stationed or patrols the area for your peace of mind.
As a member of a Japanese family, you can improve your Japanese and learn Japanese culture.
Live with fellow students from all over the world. You can learn about different cultures from your new housemates.
Enjoy your own personal space and a sense of privacy in an apartment.
What makes it different from other Japanese language schools?
ISI provides one-stop job placement support. While many other Japanese language schools outsource job placement support to outside companies, ISI provides job placement support by the school’s teachers. The support of teachers who know you well and the peace of mind of being able to ask questions at any time will lead you to better results.
In addition, since ISI employees handle everything from class content review to communication with companies that offer job placement opportunities, ISI is able to accumulate know-how within the school and provide even better job placement support.
Can I really find a job in Japan?
There are many “mechanisms” that make employment possible.
Can I get a job with N3?
Although it is possible to find a job, ISI recommends that you acquire a higher level of Japanese language proficiency before finding a job. If your Japanese language skills are low, there are only a limited number of positions available, and it will not be easy to develop your career afterwards.
Since our goal is not to “obtain a job offer” but rather to be active afterwards, our first priority is to help students acquire higher Japanese language skills.
