Why did you decide to study in Japan?
I want to study philosophy at Kyoto university. I think it’s important to consider many perspectives, and learning Japanese philosophy in Japan is a great way to experience a different way of viewing the world.
Why did you choose ISI?
I chose ISI because it had a lot of support for students entering graduate school in Japan.
What do you think was the best thing of enrolling in ISI?
Kyoto is a city full of students, so I wanted to study here to find friends and a graduate school.
What did you work hard on with your teachers and classmates. in your job searching and college preparation?
Creating aresearch plan is a vital part of entering graduate school in Japan. I was really overwhelmed at first, but the teachers gave advice and helped me make a plan.
What was helpful in your job search/college preparation?
The career counselor has helped me a lot!
What is your future dream?
My dream is to be a philosophy professor with a focus on aesthetics and philosophy of literature.
What would you tell to those who want to study in ISI?
ISI is a school with great support for individuals wanting to improve their Japanese language studies.
