American Group Program (Implementing School: Nagano Campus)
Implementation period: May 18, 2026 (Monday) to June 6, 2026 (Saturday) [3 weeks]
Participants: 9 university students from the United States (ages 19-20)
In this program, 9 university students from the United States participated. The first half of the program was held in Tokyo, where they enjoyed sightseeing in Odaiba and a cruise, as well as engaging in exchange activities with students from Tokyo Business and Language College. Through interactions with Japanese university students, they experienced the unique atmosphere of the city and student life.
At the Nagano Campus, they attended conversation-focused Japanese language classes. They also visited the Snow Monkey Park, experienced wearing yukata and tea ceremony, explored Ueda Castle, and engaged with local high school students, deepening their understanding of Japan's nature and regional culture.
Many students expressed that they were able to experience both Tokyo and Nagano, gaining insight into Japan's diverse attractions. The overall satisfaction rating for the program was high, at 90%, according to participant surveys.
