Enrollment Periods & Application Schedule
April Enrollment
Application deadline: end of October.
July Enrollment
Application deadline: end of February.
October Enrollment
Application deadline: end of May
January Enrollment
Application deadline: end of August.
Application Eligibility
- Those who wish to find employment in Japan or in their home country after graduating from this school
- Those who have graduated from a graduate school, university, or junior college
(this requirement does not apply to those seeking employment under the Specified Skilled Worker visa) - At least 150 hours of prior Japanese language study
- Sufficient financial means to cover the cost of study for the duration of the program
- Those with clear study goals and strong motivation to learn
Note: The above are general guidelines. Requirements such as educational background and Japanese language ability may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Application to Enrollment Process

Document preparation and submission.
Application form, certificate of academic history, certificate of financial support, and other required documents

Document review and interview
Submitted documents are reviewed and an interview is conducted

Application for Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
ISI submits the application to the Immigration Services Agency on your behalf

Visa Application / Level Check Test
After the COE is issued, apply for a visa at a Japanese consulate abroad and complete an online level check test
5
Arrival in Japan, Enrollment, Start of Classes
Enter Japan, attend orientation, and begin classes
