Nagano Campus
Japanese Teacher

When and why did you decide to become a Japanese teacher?
While learning various languages, I wanted to show to the world how interesting Japanese is, and that's why I became a Japanese teacher.
Could you please tell me about the contents of your lessons?
I am mainly in charge of beginner and intermediate level classes.
What is the fun part and the difficult part of teaching Japanese?
Preparing an easy-to-understand class is difficult because everyone has a different culture and way of thinking but the students' voices saying "Teacher, I understood!" after classes is the most satisfying feeling.
What is the most important thing for you when being in contact with students?
As a teacher I try to keep in mind to talk in a cheerful way to students.
What can you find in ISI that you won't find in other Japanese schools?
Nagano is rich in nature so you can experience a lot of outdoor activities. You can also study in a quiet and calm environment and I think that is attractive too. Also, Nagano Campus share its facilities with a vocational school so you can interact with Japanese students and acquire a natural Japanese knowledge.
What do you think is the most important thing when international students study Japanese?
Of course, Japanese grammar and conversation are important but I think that experiencing the rules of the country is also important for mastering the language.
What kind of students you want to be enrolled?
Anyone who wants to study Japanese.
Finally, a few words for the future students.
In order to leave your country and study somewhere else, you need to make a big decision and have a strong will. So why don't you make your dreams come true with ISI Japanese Language School? We will fully support you!
