School environment
The school is located in Ueda-city, in Nagano. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen.
Nagano is surrounded by beautiful nature, and the Winter Olympics were held there in 1998.
It is a popular place for sightseeing for Japanese people. You can enjoy many
seasonal activities such as fishing in the Chikuma river, Summer festivals, mountain
hiking, fruit picking in autumn, hot springs and skiing in winter.
The living expense is about half of that in Tokyo, and it is also an ideal place for students to find part-time work because there are many food processing factories and car manufacturing plants in Nagano.
