School environment
Gifu-city is located at center of Honshu island, and it takes only 15minutes by train from Nagoya; the third biggest city in Japan.
Chubu area including Gifu and Aichi prefecture are surrounded by beautiful nature.
Places for a lot of activities such as swimming at the beach in summer, mountain
hiking in autumn, skiing and hot springs in winter can be enjoyed by all.
It also has a lot of historical buildings. 3 of the most important historical characters of modern Japan; Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and Ieyasu Tokugawa came from Aichi. You can also participate in Japanese cultural events there. Every spring, you can see the Fire Festival; which is significant intangible folk cultural asset, Nobunaga festival and traditional naked festival in winter.
The living expense is less than half of that in Tokyo. Gifu has many textiles factories and electric parts manufactures, and it has good part-time jobs for students.
It is ideal place for students!
