Student Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years or over, must be a foreign national who has completed high school education in a foreign country, or equivalent.
  • Must be sincere and diligent and have a strong commitment to study.
  • The sponsor must be able to support the student's tuition and living cost.

Application procedure

STEP1 Required documents and application procedure is different according to Nationality.
OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development countries) *: send documents on this required document list
Mainland China: prepare documents on this required document list and contact our office in Shanghai regarding an interview date.

STEP2 Submit the documents to our office. For mailing address, Please see here.
STEP3 School examines your documents. If any corrections are required we will contact you. Please correspond promptly.
STEP4 After examining documents again, the school will issue admission fee invoice to successful applicants. Please transfer the admission fee by the due date.
STEP5 When applicants pay the admission fee, schools take their application documents to the Immigration Bureau in Japan on behalf of applicants themselves. After applying for a Certificate of Eligibility, we send the admission letter to the applicants.
STEP6 In 2-3 months, the Immigration Bureau issues a Certificate of Eligibility. Then the school informs the applicants as the result, and sends an invoice for the tuition and school fees together with the entrance schedule.
STEP7 Please transfer the tuition and school fees by the due date when you receive the invoice.
STEP8 As soon as the school confirms the payment, the school will send the Certificate of Eligibility.
STEP9 When you receive your Certificate of Eligibility, you should apply for your student visa at your local Japanese embassy / consulate.
STEP10 Please inform your flight details and arrival date to the school when you get your visa.
STEP11 Arrival in Japan 'Congratulations on your entry to Japan!'
